Black Heritage Tours and GINI Travel join forces to honour the shared stories connecting the Netherlands, Africa and the Americas. Founded by Jennifer Tosch, Black Heritage Tours reveals the Black presence in Dutch history through immersive storytelling, research and community engagement.
Together with GINI travel, these stories expand into full curated travel experiences connecting remembrance, culture and conscious movement across borders.
This collaboration bridges continents, connecting Amsterdam’s canal stories with New York’s Hudson River legacies. Each tour invites travellers to explore how Dutch, African and Indigenous histories intersect and how these legacies continue to shape our shared world.
Together, we design experiences that celebrate Black history as living heritage, supporting local guides, historians and Black-owned businesses on both sides of the Atlantic.
Walk and sail through Amsterdam’s Black heritage, guided by experts who bring centuries of history, resilience and creativity to life. Extend your visit with curated travel arrangements, group programs or heritage extensions through GINI.
