Day 1 – Arrival and soft landing

Day 2 – Land, rainforest and island ecology
A slower day connected to nature, land and local context. Possible visit to El Yunque or another nature-rooted experience with local guidance.

Day 3 – Loíza and Afro-Puerto Rican culture
A cultural day around Afro-Puerto Rican heritage, music, food, dance, community memory and local storytelling.

Explore San Juan’s layered history: Spanish colonial rule, fortifications, Caribbean trade routes, European rivalry, the Dutch attack of 1625 and later U.S. colonial power.
